چکیده

The complexity of biodiesel aging has shown that the mechanism needs further research. rate product formation and associated interactions can help improve fuel quality. Since is a multicomponent system constant changes occur in chemical environment, which yield products must be more detail. Particularly under observation was correlation between peroxides epoxides. In addition, it critical influence new drop-in candidates investigated. this work, kinetics methyl oleate (C18:1) are studied. aim to reduce order able make precise detailed statements about mechanism. Ketones, acids, peroxide, epoxide values were recorded. A distinction made pure mixtures with 3 wt% isopropylidene glycerine (solketal). After solketal decomposed blends, process showed changes. resulted higher number acids epoxides over time. It implied not necessarily precursor summary, solketal’s sequence could detected.

a comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Ozonolysis of methyl oleate monolayers at the air-water interface: oxidation kinetics, reaction products and atmospheric implications.

Ozonolysis of methyl oleate monolayers at the air-water interface results in surprisingly rapid loss of material through cleavage of the C=C bond and evaporation/dissolution of reaction products. We determine using neutron reflectometry a rate coefficient of (5.7 ± 0.9) × 10(-10) cm(2) molecule(-1) s(-1) and an uptake coefficient of ∼3 × 10(-5) for the oxidation of a methyl ester monolayer: the...

Experimental study of the oxidation of methyl oleate in a jet-stirred reactor.

The experimental study of the oxidation of a blend containing n-decane and a large unsaturated ester, methyl oleate, was performed in a jet-stirred reactor over a wide range of temperature covering both low and high temperature regions (550-1100 K), at a residence time of 1.5 s, at quasi atmospheric pressure with high dilution in helium (n-decane and methyl oleate inlet mole fractions of 1.48 ×...

Ester hydroxy derivatives of methyl oleate: tribological, oxidation and low temperature properties.

Five branched oleochemicals were prepared from commercially available methyl oleate and common organic acids; and their lubricant properties were determined. These branched oleochemicals are characterized as 9(10)-hydroxy-10(9)-ester derivatives of methyl oleate. These derivatives show improved low temperature properties, over olefinic oleochemicals, as determined by pour point and cloud point ...

Kinetics of Pb(IV) Oxidation of Substituted Methyl Mandelates

Lead tetra acetate (Pb(IV) or LTA) oxidation of the esters X —C,,H4—C H(OH ) — COO CH, (X = H, m-NO: , p-N O : , /?;-Cl. /?-Cl. p-Br. p-CH, and p-C:H s) gives corresponding keto esters. The reaction is first order in [Pb(IV)] and second order in [Ester], and is catalysed by pyridine and 2,6-lutidine. The pyridine catalysed reaction is first order each in [Pb(IV)]. [Ester] and [Pyridine]. A kine...
